At Wingz and Thingz, there’s a lot of excitement and activity buzzing around. The four baby wallabies are growing fast, with one adventurous little pickle venturing out from mummy’s pouch more often than not – truly adorable! The wallaby shelter has been stocked with nice new hay, creating a comfy oasis for our marsupial friends to enjoy.
Over at the tortoise enclosure, our shelled companions are having a blast in their sandpit, much like the dogs over at Wingz K9 Secure Paddock. The horsebox, known as The Beez Kneez, is undergoing renovations, with work being done on the bathroom to get it ready for bookings where you can wake up surrounded by the wallabies.
Riley and Jacky, the Hanns Macaws, are busy investigating their boxes, while the African Greys are also exploring and playing. All the outside aviaries have received a spruce up, complete with new water bowl stations. It’s a bustling time here at Wingz and Thingz, and we’re hoping for the nicer weather to continue so that all our animal friends can bask in the sunshine and enjoy their enriched environments.
